Teams in Jiminny mirror the structure of your organisation, for example SDRs, Account Executives or Success (EMEA). They let you segment your users, apply settings per team and report on each team separately.
This article explains how to read the Teams page in Settings > Teams, so you can see which teams are fully set up and which are not yet getting value from Jiminny, and how to create and edit teams.
Seeing how your teams are set up
Each row on the Teams page shows whether Jiminny's automations are switched on for that team. The columns you see depend on what is available to your organisation, so you will only see the automations you can actually set up.
Auto-categorized — Jiminny detects the activity type of each call automatically, so nobody has to tag calls by hand. Set it up in Playbooks and Activity types.
Auto-logged to CRM — call activity is synced to your CRM after every conversation. Set it up in CRM Activity Logging.
CRM data auto-filled — CRM fields are filled with data captured from calls. Set it up in AI CRM Filling.
Auto-scored — every call is scored against your criteria without a manual review. Set it up in AI Call Scoring.
A tick means the automation is set up for the team, a cross means it is not. Hover over any cell for the detail, including where to go to set it up.
Note: CRM data auto-filled is only shown if your CRM is Salesforce or HubSpot.
Readiness
Readiness sums up the columns into one percentage: how many of the automations available to your organisation are set up for the team. It is red at 0%, green at 100% and yellow anywhere in between, so you can scan the page and pick out the teams that need attention.
The totals at the top of the page give you the same picture across the organisation.
Teams with no Recorder users
If nobody on a team has the Recorder role, none of the automations can apply to them, so every cell in that row is grey and the team is left out of the totals at the top of the page.
Checking how much each team records
Meeting recording rate shows the percentage of the team's scheduled meetings that were recorded in the last 30 days. It only counts users with the Recorder role, and dialer calls are excluded.
A low recording rate means conversations are missing from Jiminny — and from every report built on them — so it is the first thing to fix before reading anything into a team's other numbers. To see which meetings went unrecorded and why, open the team and select Team Insights to go to the Conversationstab. The Customer Meetings chart shows scheduled against recorded meetings per person, and the download includes the reason each meeting was not recorded — see Understanding the Conversations charts in Team Insights.
The rate is shown as not available, rather than 0%, when it cannot be measured:
the team has no Recorder users
the team's calls happen in a dialer other than Jiminny's, so Jiminny cannot compare attempted and recorded calls
Creating and editing a team
Select New Team to create a team. Give it a clear, descriptive name and choose the team's Manager — the person responsible for the team's settings and for inviting its members. The other fields, such as country and timezone, set defaults for the team's users.
Select Edit on a team to change any of these, and to manage two settings that apply per team:
Visibility — which other teams' activities and deals this team can see. See Controlling what each team can see.
Deal Risks — the signals Jiminny uses to flag risk on this team's deals. See Setting up Deal Risks for your team.
Once the team exists, invite your users and add them to it.
FAQ
1. Why is one automation missing from my Teams page?
The page only shows automations available to your organisation. If you expect to see one and do not, ask your Client Success Manager.
2. Does the meeting recording rate include calls from our dialer?
No. It compares scheduled meetings with recorded meetings for Recorder users only. Dialer activity is reported in Team Insights under Conversations — see Understanding the Conversations charts in Team Insights.
