The Conversations tab in Team Insights shows how much activity your team is generating across their voice calls, video meetings and SMS messages. It covers all of your connected voice and conferencing integrations as well as Jiminny Voice, so you have one source of truth for your team's activity. This article explains what each chart measures and how to read it.
Every chart responds to the filters at the top of the page — people, teams, time period, activity type and more. For an overview of the whole page, see Get the data you need from Team Insights.
Tracking your team's meetings
Customer Meetings
Customer Meetings shows your team's scheduled customer-facing meetings, and how many of those were recorded and logged to your CRM. Each person has three bars:
Scheduled — customer-facing meetings in this person's calendar that took place across the period
Recorded — how many of those meetings have a recording in Jiminny
Logged to CRM — how many were logged to your CRM
The chart also shows each person's % recorded, so you can see recording discipline at a glance.
Note: A gap between Scheduled and Recorded means meetings went unrecorded. Those conversations are missing from your data, so it is worth closing that gap before you read anything into the rest of Team Insights.
To see why meetings went unrecorded, select Download to export the data — the export includes the reason each meeting was not recorded. For what each reason means and how to resolve it, see Understand why meetings and calls are not recorded.
To compare across your organisation, switch to the Teams tab. It shows the recording rate for each team — the percentage of scheduled meetings that were recorded — ordered from highest to lowest, so you can see immediately which teams have built the recording habit and which need attention.
If logging is not happening automatically for your team, see Setting up CRM Activity Logging.
Recorded Meetings
Recorded Meetings shows everything your team recorded, broken down per person into three categories:
Customer Meetings — external meetings scheduled through a calendar invite
Internal Meetings — meetings where everyone on the call is from your organisation
Ad-hoc Recordings — everything else, such as recordings started without a calendar invite and manually uploaded recordings
Each person's bar shows their total, split into the three categories. Select a bar to open a drilldown of the recordings behind it, with a tab for each category.
Use this chart alongside Customer Meetings — one shows whether the meetings that should be recorded are being recorded, the other shows what your team's recorded time is actually made up of.
Time in Meetings
Time in Meetings shows the total recorded hours per person, split into the same three categories: customer meetings, internal meetings and ad-hoc recordings. Use it to see where your team's time goes — for example, a rep with high hours but a small customer-meeting segment is spending most of their recorded time internally.
Tracking your team's calls
The calls charts cover your team's dialer activity, split into outbound and inbound. How much detail you see depends on which dialer your team uses.
If your team uses the Jiminny Voice dialer, outbound calling is measured in three bars:
Attempted — the number of dials made per person
Connected — the number of dials that reached a valid phone number, excluding incorrect or invalid dials
Logged — the number of those dials that were logged in your CRM
If your team uses a different dialer, Jiminny only sees the calls that reach it as recordings, so the charts show the number of recorded calls (Connected) per person instead of the full attempted-to-logged breakdown.
Duration shows the total time each person spent on those calls.
Tracking SMS
The SMS charts show the number of messages Sent and Received per person across the period.
Note: SMS tracking is only available to customers using the Jiminny Voice dialer. If your team uses a different dialer, you will not see the SMS charts.
Downloading your data
You can download the data behind the Conversations charts to CSV using the Download button, if you want to work with it outside Jiminny. The export reflects the filters you have applied, so set your filters before you download.
Note: The export includes the reason each unrecorded meeting was not recorded, so it is the quickest way to understand a gap between Scheduled and Recorded.
FAQ
1. I recorded a meeting but it is not in Customer Meetings — why?
Customer Meetings only counts external meetings that were scheduled through a calendar invite. If the meeting was internal, or recorded without an invite, it appears in Recorded Meetings under Internal Meetings or Ad-hoc Recordings instead.
2. Does a meeting need a transcript to count as recorded?
No. A meeting counts as recorded as soon as a recording exists in Jiminny.
3. Do dialer calls appear in the meetings charts?
No. Voice calls made through your dialer are counted in the calls charts, and the meetings charts only cover conference meetings.
4. Why don't my Logged numbers match my CRM?
Logged counts only the activities Jiminny successfully logged to your CRM. Activities that were not logged still appear under Attempted, Scheduled or Recorded, which is why the totals differ.
