Get the data you need from Team Insights

Team Insights shows you how your team is performing across their conversations in Jiminny — how much activity they are generating, what they are saying in their calls, and where coaching will make the most difference. This article covers each section of Team Insights and how to filter down to the data you need.

Before you start

What you see in Team Insights depends on your visibility access. If you can only see your own activity, or a team is missing from your filters, your access is the first thing to check — see Visibility Access (Deals and Activity).

To compare or filter by team, your teams need to be set up in Jiminny first. See Setting up your Teams.

Filtering to the data you need

Every section of Team Insights responds to the filters you set at the top of the page, so it is worth setting these first. You can filter by people, teams, time period, activity type, deal stage and deal value, and open Advanced filters for a narrower subset.

Common ways to use filters:

  • Look at a single activity type, such as discovery calls

  • Compare two teams, or two people on the same team

  • Compare one time period against another

  • Focus on a particular stage of your sales process

  • Look only at deals of a certain size

Note: Filters apply to the whole page, so the numbers in every tab reflect the subset you have selected.

Your dashboard

The Dashboard is your starting point — an overview of your team's performance across the period you have selected, including the number of calls, emails and talk ratios.

Reviewing activity levels in Conversations

Conversations shows detailed statistics across your team's video meetings, voice calls and SMS messages. It covers all of your connected voice and conferencing integrations as well as Jiminny Voice, so you have one source of truth for how much activity your team is generating.

Outbound activity

Outbound calling is measured in three bars:

  • Attempted — the number of dials made per person

  • Connected — the number of dials that reached a valid phone number, excluding incorrect or invalid dials

  • Logged — the number of those dials that were logged in your CRM

Meeting activity

Conference meetings are measured slightly differently:

  • Scheduled — the number of conference meetings in this person's diary across the period

  • Connected — how many of those meetings were recorded

  • Logged — how many were logged in your CRM

Note: A gap between Scheduled and Connected usually means meetings went unrecorded, which is worth checking before you read anything into the rest of the data.

Checking adoption in Engagement

Engagement shows how actively your team is using Jiminny itself — not how they perform on calls, but whether they are engaging with the platform at all. This makes it the quickest way to spot users who are not getting value from Jiminny yet.

Playbacks is the chart to check first. It shows how many calls each person has listened back to across the period. Reps who review their own calls, and managers who review their team's, are the ones getting the most out of Jiminny — a flat Playbacks bar is usually the earliest sign of low adoption.

The other charts track further ways your team engages: Shares, Comments, and Playlist Contributions. Use them to see which parts of Jiminny your team has adopted and where there is room to build the habit.

Comparing reps in Statistics

Statistics are most useful in aggregate. Instead of looking at one call, you can see the patterns that repeat across your team — what your talk time looks like on discovery calls you win, or how many questions your strongest performers ask.

Use this to define what good looks like for your team, then find the people who are furthest from it. For the same metrics on an individual call, see Engagement Stats.

Seeing what is discussed in Topics

Topics shows what your team is talking about across the subset of conversations you have filtered to — which topics come up, when in the conversation they come up, how often they are mentioned and how long your team spends on them.

For a breakdown of how frequently specific topics are mentioned, go to Topics > Percentage.

If your topics are not set up yet, see Creating your own custom Themes and Topics. Your Client Success Manager can help you build these out.

Tracking scoring in Coaching

Coaching shows how your team's calls are being scored — where quality is strong and where coaching will make the most difference.

AI Call Scoring is the chart to check first. It shows how each person's calls score against your AI scorecards, so you can compare performance across the team and spot who would benefit most from coaching. For how scoring works, see AI Call Scoring.

Coaching Frameworks sits alongside it, covering scores from your framework-based scorecards.

Comparing won and lost deals

Deal Win vs. Loss shows the topics and phrases that come up in the deals you win compared with the ones you lose — for example, what happens to your closed-won rate when budget is raised at the start of a meeting rather than at the end.

Use it to identify the behaviours worth coaching across the team.

Finding the calls behind the numbers

Numbers on their own do not make a coaching session. Drilldown takes any set of statistics and shows you the specific calls producing them, so you can go straight to the conversation you want to review, share or coach on.

Exporting your data

You can download the data from the Conversations, Engagement and Coaching tabs to CSV if you want to work with it outside Jiminny.

Note: The export reflects the filters you have applied, so set your filters before you download.

FAQ

1. Why can I only see my own data?

Team Insights follows your visibility access. If you expect to see your team and do not, ask your Jiminny admin to check your access — see Visibility Access (Deals and Activity).

2. My Topics tab is empty — why?

Topics need to be set up for your organisation before they appear. See Creating your own custom Themes and Topics.

3. Why don't my Logged numbers match my CRM?

Logged counts only the activities that were successfully logged to your CRM. Activities that were not logged still appear under Attempted, Connected or Scheduled, which is why the totals differ.
