Deal Turnaround for High Risk Opportunities

To spot the risk signals in a stalling deal, plan how to shift the buyer's sentiment, and draft the follow-up email.

Before you start: open the deal you are worried about in Ask Jiminny — one that has gone quiet, slipped its close date, or turned negative.

Review this deal for the signs it is at risk, then set out how to turn the buyer's sentiment around and draft the follow-up email that does it.

Structure the output as:

  • The specific risk signals in this deal — slow replies, unanswered questions, stalled next steps — each with the email or call it came from.

  • Three to five actions to shift sentiment, each with why it should work and what a positive response would look like.

  • Whether the buyer ever said we fell short of their expectations, and exactly what they said.

  • Finish with a short follow-up email in the rep's own voice, addressing those points and proposing a clear next step.

Ground every risk and recommendation in what was actually said and name the source. Quote emails directly, but paraphrase call content — you see call summaries and highlights, not transcripts. If the deal shows no real risk signals, say so rather than inventing one, and do not apologise for anything the buyer did not raise.
