Deal Lifecycle

To build a dated timeline of how one deal has moved from first contact to today, and where it stalled longest.

Before you start: open the deal you want to review in Jiminny and run this from the Ask Jiminny panel on that deal, so it can see the emails and the call summaries attached to it.

Copy the text below and paste it into Ask Jiminny ⬇️

Map how this deal has progressed from first contact to today, using the emails and call summaries on the record.

Structure the output as:

  • A short timeline of the stages the deal has actually moved through, with the dates each one covers

  • What moved it from one stage to the next, and who drove that move — us or the customer

  • Where it has sat longest without visible progress

  • The evidence for each stage: quote the emails directly, and paraphrase what was said on calls

  • Finish with the single stage you think the deal is in right now, and how confident you are

Ground every stage in something that was actually written or said, and name the email or meeting it came from. You are working from call summaries rather than full transcripts, so paraphrase calls instead of quoting them. If the record does not show a clear stage or a clear trigger, say there is not enough evidence rather than inventing one.
