Deal Stage Assessment

To place one deal at its current stage from recent activity only, with who is still engaged and what must happen next.

Before you start: open the deal you are about to forecast or review and run this from the Ask Jiminny panel on that deal, so it can see the most recent emails and call summaries.

Copy the text below and paste it into Ask Jiminny ⬇️

Using only the most recent activity on this deal, tell me where it actually stands today.

Structure the output as:

  • The stage you would put the deal in now, and the date of the latest activity you based that on

  • The signals that support it: what the customer has committed to, asked for, or gone quiet on

  • Who from their side is currently engaged, and who has dropped out of the conversation

  • The evidence, quoting the recent emails directly and paraphrasing what was said on calls

  • Finish with the one thing that has to happen next for the deal to move forward

Base this only on what was actually written or said, and name the email or meeting each point came from. You have call summaries rather than full transcripts, so paraphrase calls instead of quoting them. If the recent activity is too thin to place the deal confidently, say there is not enough evidence rather than guessing a stage.
