When automatic recording is enabled across the board, it often leads to unnecessary recordings, noise in the platform, and disruption to internal workflows.

This feature lets you automatically record only the internal meetings that matter—without relying on manual recording or capturing everything.

With selective internal recording you can:

  • Record key deal reviews, coaching sessions, and strategy calls without relying on manual recording

  • Avoid clutter from unnecessary internal meetings being recorded

  • Ensure important discussions are consistently captured for coaching and follow-up

How it works

Add notetaker@jiminny.com as a guest to a calendar invite and:

  • The meeting is automatically marked for recording

  • Recording starts without any manual action

  • The conversation is available in Jiminny after processing

Important requirement

This feature works alongside your organisation’s automatic recording settings.

To use it:

  • Go to Org Settings → Recordings

  • Ensure "Automatically Record Meetings" is turned "ON BY DEFAULT."

If this setting is off, adding the notetaker will not start the recording.

The meeting will not be recorded, even if the notetaker is added.
