Summarise Lessons Learned for Future Deals

To summarise what worked and what slowed a closed deal down, and the two or three changes worth carrying into the next one.

Before you start: open a closed deal — won or lost — and run this from Ask Jiminny at deal level, so it can see the full email and call history.

Copy the text below and paste it into Ask Jiminny ⬇️

Review this closed deal and pull out the lessons worth applying to the next deal like it.

Structure the output as:

  • What we did that moved the deal forward, and where that shows up in the record.

  • What slowed it down — delays, gaps, or people brought in too late.

  • Anything the customer told us that we would not have predicted at the start.

  • Two or three concrete changes to repeat or avoid next time.

  • Finish with the single lesson most worth carrying into the next deal, and why.

Ground every point in something actually said or written in this deal and name the source — the email, or the call and its date. You see emails verbatim but only AI-derived summaries and highlights of calls, so quote emails directly and paraphrase calls. Where the record does not show why something worked or failed, say there is not enough evidence rather than inventing a cause.
