Themes and Topics are designed to help you gather insights into which topics are discussed on your team's calls and meetings. Each topic is triggered by a keyword or phrase that you are interested in highlighting across their conversations. Based on researching over a thousands of conversations, Jiminny has identified the default key triggers that are in the platform. This means that out of the box, we'll analyze your conversations and highlight what matters, saving you time reviewing activity. These include:

  • Deal risks e.g. competitors, concerns

  • Next steps

  • Pricing e.g. number of licences, seats

  • Late-stage e.g. contract, timeline, negotiation

  • And more!

During your Jiminny implementation, we will work with you and use AI to generate and refine the Themes and Topics you are tracking in the platform!

Custom Themes

We want you to see the topics that matter the most to you, so offer the ability to add custom themes. Some ideas could include competitor names, product features, or even playbooks. Please speak to your CSM to get these set up.

Themes and topics are an awesome way to find that perfect moment of the call in a matter of seconds, but with so many keywords to look out for, how do we keep them updated? Introducing our brand new custom themes and topics at the very touch of your fingertips! Visit Organisation > Topics to edit these!

Creating a Theme

Create, customise and edit any theme or topic that you would like, straight into your Jiminny platform in a matter of seconds. Let's begin by creating a Theme itself, by simply clicking: add theme > name the theme > create.

Adding Topics

Once the themes are created, we can begin to add custom topics! Topics allow you to break down and dive even deeper into each and every transcript. Add as many topics to each theme as you like, truly tailoring this all to your teams want and needs!

Adding Triggers

Triggers are the actual vocabulary we're looking to identify and locate in conversations, they can be absolutely anything from company names to industry specific terminology. The world is your oyster with these triggers, so go wild! You can be even more specific with each trigger too, by selecting who on the call said the trigger and even in which language.

Managing Themes, topics and trigger words in CSV

If you want to manage a large number of themes, topics and triggers, you can download the template from the Topics page and use your chosen tool. This is useful for mass updates. You can import and export the CSV. Read more here

Understanding Custom Vocabulary

Some words such as company names or specific industry terms aren't actually English dictionary terms, therefore we need to train Jiminny to understand them! This can be managed in the Vocabulary section.
