Steps to Sync emails to Jiminny
In the Jiminny Platform, go to your profile
In Settings, click on Integrations
Under Sync Email, click on the toggle
Jiminny will redirect to a page for consent and authorization

βPlease note to import emails your contact will be in the CRM. The email does not need to be stored anywhere this is pulled directly from Office365 or Google.
How does the sync relate emails to deals in Deal Insights?
Activity Matching:
Deal Insights matches activities (emails, meetings, phone calls) to deals.
Email Matching Process:
Sync users inbox for last 1 month when initially syncing emails.
Identify the email's recipient and participants.
Search for the recipient in the CRM by email.
If a contact is found, associate it with its CRM account and related opportunities.
If no contact is found by email, search by domain to match the company.
Contextual Matching:
Contacts are associated with their CRM account and deals.
Activities are linked to open deals related to the identified account and contact. Opportunity association rules is set in Organisational Settings > Activity.
Key Points:
The type of activity (email, meeting, phone call) does not impact the matching process.
All matched activities are aggregated and displayed in Deal Insights for the relevant opportunity.
