Understand how long your data is retained

Jiminny's standard data retention period for customers is up to three (3) years or the duration of your time with us, whichever is shorter. If you have specific regulatory or business requirements that call for a different retention period, your Customer Success Manager (CSM) is available to assist. Retention periods can be customized in monthly increments.

Retained data includes:

  • Conversations: emails, meetings, calls, text messages, transcripts and associated insights (e.g. Ask Jiminny)

  • Conversation media: recording files

  • Conversation metadata: comments, statistics, key moments

  • CRM data: closed opportunities, activity-level data associated to conversations

  • Invitations

  • In-App Notifications

This Policy does not apply to conversations included in Playlists, or those associated with open opportunities.

Update Retention Period

To update your retention period, click Organization > Settings > General:

If you shorten the Retention Period, the conversations will be purged and are unrecoverable.

Offboarding

Should you decide to discontinue your service with Jiminny, please note that all of your data will be securely deleted after thirty (30) days of the Agreement Term. If you wish to archive it, please refer to our offboarding guide.
