Welcome to our Azure Administrator guide on granting consent for seamless integration between Office 365 and Jiminny. ​ Follow these simple steps to enhance your user experience without diving into technical complexities.

Jiminny supports two flows, depending on your preference and Enterprise App Policy. These modes are Pre-authorization and User Consent.

Option 1: ​Streamlined Access for All (or a subset of) Users

For quick integration, an Azure Global Administrator can grant consent on behalf of all users via pre-authorization. This can be achieved by the following links which will request access to specific scopes that Jiminny requires.

Upon success, you'll be redirected to the Jiminny application. 

If you prefer, you can apply these settings to individual users/groups instead. First you will need to grant access for yourself to the App.

Navigate to: Azure Admin Settings &gt; Azure Active Directory &gt; Enterprise Applications &gt; All Applications &gt; Jiminny

Select Users and Groups &gt; Add User/Group.

Option 2: ​Ad-hoc Approval Requests via User Consent

If your company's policy is to require a Global Administrator to provide approval for Apps on a request basis, please <a href="mailto:support@jiminny.com" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">contact our support team</a> to enable User Consent mode for your Jiminny instance. ​ This consent mode will require all users who do not have permission to grant the required scopes to request approval. You can find requests pending approval in the Microsoft Entra Admin Center. ​ ​FAQs: ​ ​Q: Why grant consent? A: Granting consent allows Jiminny to provide your team with enhanced features seamlessly integrated with your Office 365 account, and is required for users to access the platform.
