When you place or a call or schedule a meeting, Jiminny will associate that activity with your CRM data. This is done based on matching information such as email addresses or phone numbers.
When it comes to assigning an opportunity/deal to the activity, it becomes slightly more complex. The default opportunity assignment can be changed in your Organization settings to give you full flexibility based on your sales process.
Head in your settings to Organization > Manage > Activity and you will have a dropdown with the following options:
1. Most recently created open
This will pre-select the most recently created opportunity that is open.
2. Most recently updated open
This will pre-select the most recently updated opportunity that is open. It's the default option.
3. Most recently updated
This will pre-select the most recently updated opportunity. It could be closed or open.
4. Oldest created open
This will pre-select the oldest open opportunity.
When you log a call or meeting, you should see the opportunity selected according to your preference.
