Consolidate your tech stack, save time, and make your team better by integrating Jiminny with your Zoho CRM.

Jiminny's integration with Zoho improves communication and productivity, while enriching the data being pushed to your CRM. By capturing every customer conversation, you'll have unparalleled visibility into your team's performance and the data to understand where they need more development.

Which Editions are supported?

We support the following Zoho Editions: Standard/Starter, Professional, Enterprise and Ultimate.

For high volume teams, we suggest the Professional edition or higher because these offer increased API limits.

Zoho Free Edition is not supported due to the limited amount of API credits.

How does Jiminny access Zoho?

Jiminny uses the Zoho API for accessing your data. The first user to sign up to Jiminny authenticates via OAuth 2 when onboarding. This must be the Zoho admin with full permissions.

Important note: If you are an existing Jiminny customer that has moved to Zoho then please contact your CSM to facilitate the migration.

We use their account to provide a back-link for metadata and object synchronization. This is because accessing the metadata requires additional permissions that your users generally won't have.

When users log activity, we match them by their Zoho and Jiminny email addresses. The two email address must match. You'll see the record creator as the Zoho admin, but the owner as the correct user.

API Credits Limits

As you may know, Zoho impose API limits which are based on the Edition that you have and the number of Zoho users.

Jiminny is designed to use as few of these resources as possible. We understand your API limits are finite so we use caching and a shadow copy of some data to help reduce our footprint.

On initial connection the usage may spike up to 150k credits depending on the size of your organisation and therefore amount of data we are pulling. However after that you can expect around 15k - 30k credits per day per user, but it really varies depending on how much activity is placed or scheduled through the platform.

How are records matched between the systems?

When you schedule a conference in your Calendar, Jiminny will automatically check each attendee against your Zoho contacts with the email addresses from the invite. This helps us determine to which Account, Deal/Potential or Lead we should link the meetings.

Same is applied for dialer calls where we check the phone numbers from the dialer against the Zoho contacts.

Important note: Jiminny has a concept for 'activity type' which is used for various automations and segregations of meeting. This is something we usually get from the CRM and it represents the playbook the company has. However there is no such concept in Zoho which means this needs to be manually added in Jiminny if you want to fully utilise the functionalities.

What information is synced to Zoho?

For any conference that is logged we create an Activity in Zoho which can be connected to Account, Deal/Potential, Contact or Lead.

The following can also be update based on your preference: deal stage, call subject, call summary, follow up (which will create tasks).
