Recording calls and web conferences are super easy with Jiminny - but there may be situations where you need to update your recording settings based on the locations you call into or if there are changes within your organization.
You can change your default settings within the Jiminny Platform by going to Settings / Organisation / Recording:
The Jiminny Voice Dialer:
You have two dialer settings available for change - Outbound and Inbound calls. Each recording setting can be toggled:
(Please note that this only applies to Jiminny Voice - recording controls for other non-Jiminny dialers are based on your specific dialer settings)
On by default
Off by default

Changing your default recording settings:
If you do encounter situations where you need to update your recording settings, you can review governance rules via the link built into the Jiminny platform to ensure your recording practices comply with the location you're dialing into.
You can change your default settings within the Jiminny Platform by going to Settings / Organisation / Recording:
Conference option:
For Conference recording options (AKA Video Meetings like Zoom or Google Meets) there are three options you can configure for Automatic Recording:
On by default
Off by default

Record Internal meetings
This applies to all scheduled internal meetings. An internal meeting is a meeting where all the participants share the same email domain or are part of the same entity. This can be toggled on and off as shown in the above image.
Automatically record meetings:
Please be aware of call recording regulations and privacy. Even if you said this to automatically record all the meetings, you can change the settings for each upcoming meeting from your Dashboard.
Important notes:
All these settings can be overridden or locked by the Admin of your organization.
If you disable(stop) recording during a call or conference, it will not be possible to playback and coach the recording in Jiminny.
With recording off or stopped, you will not be able to summarize or log the call via Notetaker.
