Salesforce App Upgrade Guide

Upgrade the Managed Package to the latest version

Jiminny continually updates the Salesforce App to bring new features and fixes. Follow our guide to get updated.

You'll need to be the Salesforce Administrator, and Jiminny Admin to do this.

Upgrade Paths

Version <0.13 to 0.14

If required, please use password: xdmsjQhaEd

  1. Navigate to Salesforce Setup

  2. Navigate to Custom Settings

  3. Navigate to Jiminny Encryption Settings

  4. Click Manage

  5. Click Edit

  6. Enter an Encryption Key of your choice

  7. Click Save

  8. Navigate to the Jiminny Tenant Custom Object as a System Administrator

  9. Navigate to Fields and Relationships and make note of the new and old fields

    1. Bearer Token - New

    2. Bearer Access Token (Deprecated) - Old

  10. Navigate to the Jiminny Tenant Layout Page Layout

  11. Remove, if applicable, the old Bearer Access Token field from the page layout and replace it with the new Bearer Token field

  12. Save the changes to the Page Layout

  13. Navigate to the Jiminny Admin Application

  14. Navigate to the Jiminny Tenants Tab

  15. Locate the relevant Jiminny Tenant

  16. Edit the Jiminny Tenant and supply your Bearer Token to the new field and Save
